We had breakfast here and the food was amazing. We could not fault it one bit and the staff and service exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this place for your next stay in Hobart. Its very hard to find a place to eat that ticks all your boxes
We looked up Hobart’s 10 best breakfast restaurants, and Dandy Lane Cafe definitely deserves its place. Service is excellent, staff friendly and food is ‘chef’s kiss’ delicious. There were so many unexpected options that sounded amazing, alas, it was just one breakfast for me. Highly recommend the corn fritters and the unexpected delight of a Sesame Latte. If you like sesame snaps, you will LOVE it. Definitely add this place to the must visit list if you are in Hobart and love good food in a relaxed and unpretentious environment.
We ordered the Eggs Benedict with salmon and eggs on toast, and everything was really good. Fresh, tasty and well put together. The location is super convenient, right in the heart of Hobart, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. A great spot for a relaxed breakfast!
I really like this quirky but super competent little eatery. Their breakfast offering is top notch. The eggs were done exactly as we requested, the coffee is delicious, and they were happy to accommodate our vegetarian requests. Great presentation with the food, really nice garnishing, and delicious coffee. This place really surprised me and it will do the same for you.
